The basis on which you can use Aspect. In short: it's an independent tool offering predictions to inform your decisions, not guarantees to rely on.

By using Aspect you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable rather than exhaustive, and they describe how the service is intended to be used; they aren't legal advice.
The service
Aspect helps you understand the likelihood that an Indian Railways ticket will confirm, by reading a PNR or a waitlist position and returning a prediction with a confidence level. It also provides educational material about how the reservation system works. It is an information tool — it does not book, modify, cancel or otherwise transact tickets.
Not affiliated
Aspect is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to IRCTC or Indian Railways. For booking, payments, cancellations, refunds or account matters, use those official services. Nothing on this site is an official railway communication.
Predictions, not guarantees
Predictions are probabilistic estimates and can be wrong. A ticket's final status is decided by the railways through cancellations and chart preparation, not by us. You should treat a prediction as one input into your decision, not a promise of the outcome, and you remain responsible for your own travel and booking choices.
Acceptable use
Please use Aspect for your own genuine, lawful purposes. Don't attempt to disrupt or overload the service, scrape or resell it at scale, misrepresent it as an official railway service, or use it in any way that infringes others' rights or applicable law.
Content & IP
The site's design, text and educational content are provided for your personal use. Railway data such as train numbers and statuses originates with the railways and the data sources that supply it. You may share and reference our educational articles, but please don't reproduce the site wholesale or present it as your own.
Limitation of liability
Aspect is provided on an "as is" basis, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we aren't liable for losses arising from decisions made on the basis of a prediction, from inaccuracies in third-party railway data, or from the service being unavailable. Because predictions are inherently uncertain, this limitation is central to how the service is offered.
